The PYC Grass Roots Regatta is coming up on June 27 & 28!

- RULES
The Race will be governed by the 2025 – 2028 Racing Rules of Sailing
- ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
- The race is open to self-righting racing sailboats and cruising sailboats including white sails.
- Eligible boats may enter by completing the Registration Form available at the Penticton Yacht Club Marina Office (PYC Marina Office) or via email pentictonyachtclub@outlook.com or viponddarren@gmail.com.
2.3. Registrations will be accepted via email or at the Rusty Anchor – Race Headquarters Friday, June 26 from 5:30 – 6:30PM and Saturday, June 27 from 8:00 – 8:30AM.
Pre-registration is preferred.
3. FEES
Registration fees are $150 per boat and includes 1 Meal Package. Additional meal packages for crew members can be purchased for $75. Fees will be accepted at the PYC Marina Office, via credit card or e transfer @ pentictonyachtclub@outlook.com. Registration fees will also be accepted in person at the Marina Office/Rusty Anchor – Race Headquarters Friday, June 26 from 5:30 – 6:30PM and June 27, from 8:00 – 8:30AM. Pre-registration is preferred.

9:30 Skippers meeting
10:30 Race Start

Sunday, June 28
8:00AM Breakfast @ the Rusty Anchor
10:00 Race start
4:30 – 5:00PM Awards @ the Rusty Anchor. Dinner & drink!
5. RATINGS
Each boat shall declare its BC PHRF rating at registration. Divisions will be assigned based on registration turnout.
6. SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing instructions will be provided at registration or via email upon request.
7. MOORAGE/RECIPROCAL MOORAGE
Moorage for visiting boats is to be arranged prior to arrival via PYC Marina Office (250) 770-2000 or pentictonyachtclub@outlook.com. All boats must check in with the office upon arrival & provide proof of insurance showing $2mil liability.
